Le Parisien is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has decided to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
The Uruguayan has another two years left on his contract, but he is unhappy with the lack of harmony in the squad and the fact that summer recruit Neymar has been given the preferred treatment.
Cavani had similar problems with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, when he was forced to play out of position to accommodate the Swede, and the fact of the matter is that the 31-year-old deserves every respect having performed admirably since joining from Napoli.
The experienced forward managed impressive 163 goals and 29 assists in 236 competitive outings for the Saints, and chances are he will be sorely missed if he leaves at the end of the season.
