La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that QPR have all but agreed a deal to sign Chilean forward Eduardo Vargas from Napoli.
The highly rated footballer has been linked with a move to Arsenal of late, but it appears it was the Rangers who managed to reach an agreement with the Azzurri.
And with the player showing interest in a switch to Loftus Road, a season-long loan should be completed in the coming days.
Eduardo Vargas arrived at Stadio San Paolo as one of South America’s hottest prospects, but he never quite managed to prove his worth in Italian Serie A.
Having failed to score in 19 substitute appearances for Napoli, the 24-year-old spent last year and a half on loan spells with Gremio and Valencia.
The forward, who scored 1 goal in 4 starts for Chile at the 2014 World Cup, is now set for a new loan move and could prove to be a useful signing for the Rangers.
