Eduardo hails Portugal attack

Portugal goalkeeper Eduardo has lauded his country’s forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani as the most potent strike duo at Euro 2012.

The Istanbul BB-bound custodian is yet to feature at the tournament, but has enjoyed taking in the performances of Ronaldo and Nani, who he believes can fire Portugal into the final of the tournament by winning their semi-final with Spain on Wednesday.

“For me, Portugal have the best attack. Nani and Ronaldo are the best forwards of (Euro 2012) in my opinion,” Eduardo said.

“Ronaldo is the world’s best player and it is obvious that everyone is talking about the best in the world, everyone understands that.

“It will be a very complicated game for both sides. Spain are nowadays the best team in the world but we have already seen evidence that they are not unbeatable. I think if we have a good day we can win the game.

“The match will be decided in small details.”
