Eintracht Frankfurt are having a very interesting summer so far! As German clubs usually do, they want their job to be done as soon as possible, in order to start preparations for the new campaign and that works for them just fine. After selling Luka Jovic to Real Madrid, Eintracht now need reinforcements and that is what they are doing.
They have signed Red Star’s Dejan Joveljic, a 19-year-old striker that is expected to follow into Jovic’s footsteps in years to come, and now another signing has been confirmed. Eintracht Frankfurt have broken their transfer record to sign 22-year-old Swiss midfielder Djibril Sow from Young Boys on a five-year contract.
The signing was announced on Twitter, with most medi claiming it is a deal worth around €9m, while Kicker are reporting a fee which could reach €14 million. The midfielder, who has previously spent time with Borussia Monchengladbach, has made four appearances for the Swiss national side and was thought to be interesting several clubs this summer.
