Eintracht Frankfurt 7/5 to beat Inter Milan in Thursday’s Europa League showdown

Competition: Europa League

Market: Eintracht Frankfurt win

Odds: 7/5 @ Bet 365

In a battle of two teams who have their sights set on a push for the final, Eintracht Frankfurt will host Serie A outfit Inter Milan at the Commerzbank-Arena on Thursday evening.

Starting with the Bundesliga high-flyers, coming off the back of a 3-2 win over Hoffenheim and within touching distance of the top-four, the mood in Eintracht Frankfurt’s camp should be at a season-high. Unbeaten in their last nine matches, one man to watch for the hosts will be the red-hot Luka Jovic. Heavily linked with a potential move to the Premier League in the summer, the 21-year-old already has six Europa League goals to his name and is remarkably finding the net every 71 minutes. Also enjoying a three-match winning run, Frankfurt are also yet to be beaten at the Commerzbank-Arena in 2019.

As for the visitors, coming off the back of a worrying 2-1 defeat at Cagliari over the weekend, Luciano Spalletti will be worried by his side’s consistency ahead of their trip to Frankfurt. Inter Milan have now recorded just three away victories in their last 10 matches away from the San Siro and have also struggled with their European form on the road. Winning one of their Champions League group matches on their travels, the Serie A giants have also now won just one of their last eight Europa League away matches. Given their worrying form away from Milan, we’re backing another tricky evening for Spalletti’s men.
