Hoping to carry on their very impressive start to the new Bundesliga campaign, Eintracht Frankfurt will travel to relegation candidates Fortuna Dusseldorf on Friday.

Starting with Friday’s hosts, after securing European football last season, Adi Hutter’s side have once again impressed at the start of the new campaign. Putting in a very eye-catching performance in their 2-1 win away at Hoffenheim prior to the international break, it will be their form in the final third that is most impressing Hutter. Currently on a four-match winning run, including putting 13 past lower league Hanau 93 in last weeks friendly, Frankfurt also put four past both Lazio and Hannover 96 before the break. A win on Friday will also see them leapfrog Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table.

As for the recently promoted Fortuna Düsseldorf, as many expected it has been a tough start for Friedhelm Funkel’s men. Coming off the back of a very poor showing in their 2-0 loss to fellow strugglers Schalke earlier in the month, the visitors are now without a win in their last four Bundesliga outings. With only their goal difference keeping them off bottom spot, it will be their form in the final third giving Funkel the biggest headache. Dusseldorf have now managed to find the net just once since the 15th of September.
