Eintracht Frankfurt have started the season quite well, especially considering their 5-1 win over Bayern last weekend which has seen Niko Kovac get relieved of his duty in Munich. One of the players that has been the best in that team and that is a good leader of the squad is Martin Hinteregger. According to the Sun, the centre-back could be getting a move to the Premier League.
The report suggests that Arsenal and West Ham United are in contentin to sign the 27-year-old defender. Unai Emery’s team is having a lot of problems with options in defence and they are looking to strengthen in that area once the transfer window opens.
The Austria international is also being monitored by West Ham, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side is having a lot of defensive issues and they have also bought Sebastian Haller from Eintracht last summer. The two teams could go for Hinteregger already in January, but next summer seems more realistic.
