Eintracht Frankfurt want to sign Victor Lindelof from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that the defender is in talks with United over a new deal, but German club Eintracht remain keen on securing his services this summer.
Lindelof has one more year remaining on his contract at United, who have a one-year optional extension clause. Talk are going on between the two parties, but Bundesliga club Eintracht are waiting in the wings to pounce should negotiations break down.
The 28-year-old Swedish defender made 14 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for United last season. Lindelof also made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Carabao Cup and made six starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League for the Red Devils last campaign.
