Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly decided on an amount they would be prepared to accept for the services of Omar Marmoush. According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, that amount is set somewhere between €50 and 60 million.
Marmoush, who has 10 goals and seven assists in just 11 matches in all competitions this season, is being monitored by Liverpool who have already made contact with his representatives, and Eintracht are aware of that. He is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League and would apparently jump at the chance to join Liverpool straight away.
Primarily a central attacker, the 25-year-old can also pose problems for defences from either flank. He has six goals in 34 caps as an Egypt international, and his arrival at Anfield would obviously ease a few concerns about remaining short up front if Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires at the end of the season, leaves.
Recent reports, however, claimed Liverpool were set to open talks with Salah over a new deal soon, and the 32-year-old has made it clear he would love to play for the Merseysiders for the rest of his career.
🚨🆕 Eintracht Frankfurt are currently demanding a transfer fee of between €50-60m for Omar #Marmoush.
Liverpool is indeed a serious option. The interest is real, and there has already been contact between the player’s camp and #LFC. #SGE are aware of it.
