…and then to take a chunk off of his back, sending the US striker to the ground.
Unfortunately, the referee missed the incident which resulted in no penalty or red card given.
The US striker was ligh-spirited after the game despite the incident, throwing in a funny comment on the whole biting and nipple-twisting situation.
“My girl is mad at me. She’s mad at me, she’s mad at Romero. She’s like ‘Only I can bite you, only I can grab your nipples’.”, he said.
