Elano flattered by Inter link

Manchester City star Elano admits he is flattered by reports linking him with a move to Serie A giants Inter.

Reports have suggested Inter manager Jose Mourinho could make a bid for Elano in the January transfer window.

“I do not know anything about Inter’s interest,” Elano told O Globo. “Lately I have been focused on Brazil’s matches, not on my personal situation.

“I haven’t spoken with anyone about a possible approach. Nevertheless, that kind of announcement values players for their involvement.”

The 27-year-old Brazilian joined City from Shakhtar Donetsk and has been a big hit at the Premier League club.

“I cannot deny that Mourinho is a great manager, and I repeat I do not know anything about Inter,” added the Brazilian.
