Elliott set for new Liverpool contract

According to a recent report from Liverpool Echo, teenage sensation Harvey Elliott is set to sign his first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old has been tipped to do big things for the Reds in the next few years, and it’s clear to see that manager Jurgen Klopp sees some potential in him, too. Whether or not he’ll break into the first team at this moment in time remains to be seen, but it seems unlikely.

Elliott is one of Liverpool’s brightest young prospects and as such, it makes a lot of sense for him to sign a big new deal. Klopp knows that the club has to blend together some of their youth stars with big names from abroad, and if he can continue to do that successfully, this Liverpool unit will be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come – and that much seems obvious.
