Serie A strugglers Chievo have announced the deal for Napoli winger Emanuele Giaccherini.
The Flying Donkeys signed the former Italy international on loan until the end of the season, and he is seen as someone who can help the team beat the drop.
Giaccherini jumped at the opportunity to leave Napoli in search of regular playing time having made mere four substitute appearances in the current Serie A campaign.
The 32-year-old had done well to kick start his career at Bologna, but a largely disappointing 18-month spell with the Azzurri means he will have a point to prove at Chievo.
The Flying Donkeys sit five points above the relegation zone after an eight-match winless run, but they are expected to eventually turn things around.
