AC Milan attacker Urby Emanuelson was disappointed with his side’s 1-1 draw against Bologna at San Siro.
The Rossoneri found a lifeline in the 90th minute when Zlatan Ibrahimovic cancelled out Gaston Ramirez’s opener, but they were unable to score again as they had to settle for a stalemate.
The result puts Milan level on points with leaders Juventus, who have a game in hand, and Emanuelson lamented that the team could not secure a victory.
“We are not happy because we should have won this match,” he told Milan Channel.
“Juventus will play tonight and if they win they will go three points clear.
“We did not play well in the first half. We had so many chances to score, but we could only get one goal.
“It is easier for Juventus now, they always play after us. Wednesday’s match against Genoa is important, we must take all three points.”
The Dutch midfielder came on as a second-half substitute and he stamped his authority on proceedings, assisting Ibrahimovic for the equaliser.
“When I came on, I tried to help the team,” the 25-year-old added.
“I did well on the left flank, but the result was not good.”
