AC Milan footballer Urby Emanuelson has admitted that he could quit San Siro at the end of the current campaign.
In spite of putting in some good performances last term, the Dutch midfielder has been unable to command a starting berth in Max Allegri’s side and it appears he is slowly losing patience in Milan.
The 27-year-old says he is waiting to see how things are going to pan out this season before making a decision on his future.
“We’ll see how things go. The season has just begun and I am a Milan player,” Emanuelson told Italian TV station Mediaset.
“I have to see how things develop here and we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”
Urby Emanuelson arrived at AC Milan from Ajax in January 2011, but he never quite managed to nail down a regular starting berth.
His versatility might have hindered his chances of establishing himself as a first team regular seeing that the former Netherlands international has been used as a left-back, left winger and trequartista during his time at San Siro.
Emanuelson has made a total of 70 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 4 goals.
