“I am the coach”.
Those were the four defiant words uttered by Arsenal manager Unai Emery when faced with a question about rumours linking Jose Mourinho with the Gunners job. The Portuguese manager has been looking for a route back into football management ever since leaving Manchester United, with the belief being that he wants to stick around in the Premier League in order to try and win the title with a third different club.
Emery, on the other hand, has been really struggling to maintain a sense of control in North London. The players don’t seem to be giving their all for him, and the fans have started to turn against his style of play.
If Arsenal are unable to secure all three points against Leicester City this weekend, then there’s a very good chance we could see a substantial change at the top for them – whether supporters like it or not.
