Emery spoke to Neymar about Real Madrid

During a recent interview, Arsenal manager Unai Emery revealed that he had spoken to Neymar about his career and the possibility of a move to Real Madrid – when they were both at Paris Saint-Germain. While nothing obviously came of the talks it’s certainly interesting to note that Neymar has spoken about the issue in the past, with Emery also noting that he did not offer any advice to the controversial forward.

Neymar’s future has been a hot topic in the world of football ever since he really became a professional, and now that he’s being linked with moves to both Barcelona and Real, it’ll be intriguing to see which direction he chooses.

If nothing else it’ll ensure an entertaining six month period or so, as the world waits to see whether or not he’ll take the leap of faith and move to the Bernabeu. If he does, some would argue they’d be unstoppable in the realms of European football.
