Emery wants Guedes back at PSG

French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has been impressed with Goncalo Guedes’s latest performances.

After both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe arrived at Parc des Princes, the Saints allowed the Portuguese forward to join Valencia on a season-long loan as they wanted him to gain much needed first team experience.

That proved a very good decision for everyone concerned as Guedes impressed in his debut La Liga campaign, producing 1 goal and 4 assists in six appearances.

As a result, Valencia chiefs are eager to make the transfer permanent, but that will prove a very difficult task given the absence of a buy-out clause.

Also, PSG head coach Unai Emery believes that Guedes can develop into a high-quality footballer and wants him in the squad for the 2018/2019 season.
