Red Bull Leipzig star Emil Forsberg could be leaving the club for greener pastures in the January transfer window, according to his official representative.
It is believed that Liverpool, Juventus and Arsenal are all hot on the trail of the Sweden international, who has been in excellent form this season.
Forsberg scored 5 goals and set up another 9 in the first part of the Bundesliga campaign and his agent confirms top European clubs are casting admiring glances towards the 25-year-old.
“I cannot confirm concrete names. But after the great first round for Emil, big clubs have asked me (about him),” Hasan Cetinkaya told Bild.
“RB is on the way of becoming a big club that will soon be in the Champions League.
”Nevertheless, I cannot promise that Emil will stay at Leipzig in the winter.”
Capable of operating on either wing, Forsberg has impressed playing for Leipzig and the Sweden national team over the last few years, and it is clear he is ready to make the next step.
And while the Bundesliga high-flyers are under no pressure to sell, they would probably consider serious proposals for their prized asset, especially if he expresses his desire to leave.
