RB Lepzig hotshot Emil Forsberg is likely to leave the club for greener pastures in the summer, according to his official representative.
The Sweden international was one of Bundesliga’s star performers last season, having managed impressive 8 goals and 19 assists in 30 league appearances.
And even though Forsberg has a deal until June 2021 with the German high-flyers, a summer exit could be on the cards.
Speaking to Swedish media outlet Aftonbladet, the winger’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya confirmed top European sides were showing interest in his client.
“I will never comment on which clubs are involved. But there are big clubs who are very interested in Emil,” Cetinkaya said.
“Obviously RB know that if they want to keep Emil they have to make sure he’s always happy. He has repaid the club 10 times over. It might be time to test himself at one of the big clubs.”
The Swedish newspaper claims that Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are some of the clubs casting admiring glances towards Forsberg, the player who bagged 3 goals in five 2018 World Cup qualifiers for Blagult.
