Former England international Emile Heskey is currently training with Championship outfit Bolton, according to BBC Radio Manchester.
Veteran striker Ejdur Gudjohnsen is on the verge of signing a contract with the Championship side and it appears that Emile Heskey will follow in his footsteps.
The 36-year-old is training with Bolton after he was released from his contract by Newcastle Jets, and it appears he will be joining the Trotters as well.
Heskey has played for Leicester City, Liverpool, Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa in England before moving to Australia, and he has so far managed 110 Premier League goals.
The striker represented England no less than 62 times, scoring 7 goals in the process, and playing at two European Championship finals and as many World Cup tournaments.
Heskey appears to be nearing the end of his playing career, although a short spell with Bolton appears on the horizon.
