Bologna keeper Emiliano Viviano has revealed that he is keen on joining Roma.
The highly rated Italy international is jointly owned by Bologna and Inter, which makes his situation difficult.
Nevertheless, the 25-year-old admits he is in talks with Roma and that he is very interested in joining the Giallorossi.
“It’s true that I have had contact with Roma and I have always said I would like to move there,” Viviano told Il Corriere dello Sport.
Roma chiefs have turned to Viviano following somewhat disappointing performances of Brazilian keepers Alexander Doni and Julio Sergio.
Viviano’s co-ownership deal expires at the end of the month, meaning that whoever of Inter and Bologna make the higher bid will buy out the remaining 50% of the player’s contract.
