Jesus Navas is set to play the final game of his career next Sunday against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, having announced his decision to retire due to chronic pains caused by a hip problem.
The 39-year-old has therefore already played his last match at Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, when his team beat Celta Vigo 1-0 on Saturday.
A World Cup, two European Championships, a Premier League title, four Europa League/UEFA cup trophies, one UEFA Super Cup, a UEFA Nations League trophy, two Copa del Rey trophies, one Spanish Super Cup, and two English League Cups. What a career.
Naturally, Navas was extremely emotional as he waved the home fans one last farewell.
