Competition: World Cup
Market: England to win against Uruguay
Odds: 11/10 @ Ladbrokes

England know only a win will do in their crucial tie against Uruguay tonight. The Three Lions lost their Group D opener to Italy, while Uruguay lost to Costa Rica. It shook the table up as Costa Rica are now close to qualification.

England’s job is simple, they need two wins to seal their qualification into the next round. Uruguay will certainly present an attacking danger to them, however. Despite not being match-fit, Luis Suarez is expected to start for the South Americans, such is their desperation to remain in the tournament.

The likes of Edinson Cavani and Cristian Rodriguez will also be a threat to Roy Hodgson’s men. But England have their own danger men with Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling, both of whom performed admirably in their 2-1 defeat to Italy.

And as a result, Ladbrokes are back the Three Lions to get all three points tonight, with odds of 11/10. It won’t be easy, but England consider themselves favourites for the win with their squad being full of attacking talent in the starting lineup as well as on the bench.
