Competition: International friendly
Market: England to win against Italy
Odds: 11/5 @ Ladbrokes

England travel to face Italy this evening in an international friendly, with manager Roy Hodgson looking to test out his fringe stars in the team. Tottenham striker Harry Kane looks set to start in attack, while the likes of Ross Barkley (Everton) could get some game time too. The Three Lions will still want a result, despite this being a non-competitive fixture, as they’ve been in fine form since their World Cup failure.

As for Italy, the Azzurri were getting results, but recently drew away to Bulgaria, so there is some pressure placed on manager Antonio Conte. They aren’t likely to field a strong side this evening either, and have a lot of internationally inexperienced players expected to start, which means England stand a real chance of getting a result in Turin.

With a 100% in the Euro 2016 qualifying group and with non-competitive fixtures since the summer of 2014, there’s no reason Roy Hodgson’s side cannot maintain their perfect winning record, even with a weaker starting eleven. Hodgson will name a side of players who will be desperate to prove their worth, which should get a good performance out of the side.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 11/5 for England to win tonight’s international friendly against the Italians as a result.
