Competition: Euro 2016 qualifiers
Market: England to win Group E
Odds: 1/2 @ Ladbrokes

England have the opener of their Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland on Monday, and the Three Lions will be desperate to at least come away a point in their pursuit to top Group E. Manager Roy Hodgson has arguably the weakest squad since he took the role at England, so he faces his biggest challenge in topping the group for Euro 2016.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 1/2 for England to finish at the summit, but it certainly won’t be easy despite them still having stellar Premier League talent at their disposal. Switzerland, who are the biggest competition for a top spot, have a chance of getting a win at home to England on Monday, which would be fatal to Hodgson.

Both teams are likely to match results against other group members Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania and San Marino, so it’s important that the Three Lions don’t lose their home and away games to the Swiss outfit. It won’t be easy, however. They made it to the second round of the World Cup this summer, while England crashed out at the group stages.
