As players of both England and Austria took the knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement ahead of their friendly game on Wednesday, booing could clearly be heard coming from the stands of the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough.
England boss Gareth Southgate seemed pretty disappointed, but he was glad that there were those who tried to drown the booing out with applause.
