(GSM) – FC Twente defender Ronnie Stam has attracted interest from a number of English clubs. Stam has been in impressive form for Eredivisie title hopefuls Twente this season.
The 25-year-old has established himself well in manager Steve McClaren’s side this season and has been an instrumental figure in the team’s title chase. The right-back’s performances have caught the eye of English clubs, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Stam, who shares his family name with the now-retired former Manchester United and Lazio center-back Jaap Stam, will sit down with club representatives to discuss the player’s future.
Stam’s representative Chiel Dekker has confirmed the English interest his client has attracted.
