Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that Arsenal and Chelsea are showing interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.
The Italian has been linked with quite a few top clubs over the last few months, with Real Madrid and AC Milan among his suitors.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Premier League title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen, and they are closely monitoring the situation.
Namely, Marco Verratti does not appear to be happy with the treatment he has received from new coach Unai Emery and there is a chance he will request to leave the Saints.
And while PSG chiefs will give their best to keep hold of their prized asset, they are unlikely to stand in his way if the Italy international asks to leave.
The Saints currently trail Ligue 1 leaders Nice by 6 points in the overall standings, but they remain 2/7 favourites to defend the trophy.
