Sky Sports is reporting that a number of England’s top sides are keeping close tabs on Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury.
Even if he has yet to be handed his professional contract, the youngster has largely impressed playing for the club’s youth sides having come through the youth academy at King Power Stadium.
His impressive displays did not go unnoticed as clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are after his signature.
The 16-year-old has nailed down a regular starting berth at Leicester Under-19 side, but he could be signed for a nominal fee considering that he is still on a youth contract.
Leicester City officials are desperate to ward off interest from Europe’s top clubs and persuade the youngster into signing a professional contract at King Power Stadium as they hope to keep hold of one of the hottest prospects to have come out through the academy in recent years.
