Daily Mirror is reporting that a host of top English clubs are hot on the trail of Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij.
The highly rated footballer has confirmed that he will be leaving the Biancocelesti on a free transfer at the end of the season, and he will have the courtesy of choosing form a plethora of proposals.
Just a day after La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed De Vrij had agreed a deal with Inter Milan, Daily Mirror reveals English clubs are ready to make their moves.
Arch rivals Manchester United and Liverpool are drafting up their offers, as are Arsenal and Everton, according to the same source.
Having largely impressed since joining Lazio from Feyenoord, De Vrij is now spoilt for options with regards to finding a new club.
