Argentine midfielder Enzo Perez has revealed that he plans to leave Benfica and return to Estudiantes.

The 25-year-old arrived to La Luz as one of the star signings in the summer, but several injuries prevented him from fulfilling his potential.

The player is not entirely satisfied with his treatment at La Luz and says that he wants to return to Argentina.

“I talked to Benfica president and also commented on the situation with the coach,” Perez told El Equipo Deportivo.

“The best for me is to return to my country, I want to return to Estudiantes.

”In Portugal I felt that I lacked the support that I had had in Argentina, I was respected on the field there and treated well out of it.”
