Enzo Perez on Juventus radar
Italian giants Juventus have joined the race for Benfica midfielder Enzo Perez, Record has learned.
The Bianconeri have been impressed with the Argentine footballer as the two clubs contested a Europa League semi-final and boss Antonio Conte hopes to lure him to Turin in the summer transfer window.
With Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba being linked with a move away from the club, Juventus plan to reinforce their engine room with the Benfica star.
The only problem is that Manchester United are hot on the trail of 28-year-old player, who has developed into a key member of the squad at Estadio da Luz.
Since joining the club from Estudiantes, Perez has made a total of 59 league appearances and scored 8 goals in the process.
Benfica face Sevilla in the Europa League final on Wednesday, and the Eagles are 4/6 favourites to lift the trophy.
Marseille to bid for Banega
Marseille are considering a summer bid for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega, La Provence has revealed.
With some key players set to depart, new boss Marcelo Bielsa will have some rebuilding to do in the summer.
And according to La Provence, Valencia’s Ever Banega could be his first signing as Marseille boss.
The Argentine coach knows his compatriot well from Spanish La Liga and the national team, and he believes the 25-year-old would be an excellent addition to the squad at Stade Velodrome.
After losing his place in the side at Mestalla, Banega was loaned to Newell’s Old Boys, where he has featured on regular basis.
But, even though he has one year left on his deal with los Che, the midfielder has no plans to return to Spain and could decide to accept an offer from Marseille.
Southampton keen on Portuguese starlet
Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola understands that Southampton are showing interest in Sporting Braga midfielder Rafa Silva.
The 20-year-old has impressed since joining the club from second division side Feirense and his impressive displays this season did not go unnoticed.
After the likes of Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco had expressed interest in his services, Premier League high flyers Southampton were added to the long list of admirers.
The Saints look set to stay without captain Adam Lallana and they see Rafa Silva as a good long-term replacement for the England international.
And even if the attacking midfielder has another two years left on his deal at Estadio AXA, there is every chance Sporting Braga would consider any serious proposal.
Rafa Silva has been in fine form this season, having managed 8 goals in 29 competitive appearances for the club.
