(GSM) – Feyenoord’s chances of using this season to end all misery received yet another blow this Sunday as the Rotterdam side lost 2-0 at NAC Breda.
NAC had won only one of their first four games and knew that a win over Feyenoord was necessary to get things back on track.
The match at Breda’s Rat Verlegh appeared to be heading for a goalless result when NAC finally broke the deadlock on 84 minutes with Robbert Schilder sending a low shot past keeper Van Dijk, 1-0.
And Schilder would add a second goal in the final minute of regular time, finding the target with a well-taken free kick.
Feyenoord are now eighth in the Dutch Eredivisie at six points from joint-leaders PSV and Ajax. NAC follow in tenth position.
