NEC Nijmegen defender Bram Nuytinck claims that Juventus and Napoli are interested in his services.
According to Voetbal International, the 21-year-old was watched by Juventus scouts last weekend during NEC’s home game against Feyenoord.
Besides the Bianconeri, Napoli have also shown interest in signing the Netherlands Under-21 captain.
The highly rated defender admits that he is flattered to have been linked with such great clubs.
“Last weekend I have spoken to my agent Cees van Vossen,” Nuytinck was quoted as saying in Voetbal International.
“He confirmed that there had long been an interest from Italy, namely Napoli and Juventus, for me.
”We will have to wait and see whether they will step up the interest, but this alone is great.
“Both Juventus and Napoli belong to Italian and European top.”
The player was on the verge of a move to Osasuna last year, but he ultimately decided to remain at Nijmegen.
“Then, it was clear for everyone that it was better for me to continue at NEC. I feel the situation is different now.”
The towering centre-back made his debut for the Eredivisie outfit in December 2009, and has since featured in 60 league games, scoring 6 goals in the process.
Nuytinck has earned a reputation as one of the hottest prospects in Dutch Eredivisie and is currently the captain of Netherlands Under-21 side.
