The Dutch Eredivisie match between FC Utrecht and champions PSV Eindhoven has been re-scheduled as result of possible riots.
A conflict concerning the fan home of FC Utrecht supporters, may spread to the city center and escalate before or after the match. Enough reason for mayor Wolfsen to re-schedule the game from 20:45 on Saturday to 14:30.
The mayor, supported by national authorities, feels that having the match earlier on the day reduces the risk of riots.
FC Utrecht itself disagrees and wants the decision to be revoked. The club claims to have come to agreements with its supporters.
