Vitesse Arnhem lost their third match in succession after falling 1-0 away to RKC Waalwijk in the Eredivisie on Friday.
John van den Brom’s side have won just once in their last seven games in all competitions, a statistic made worse by their disappointing trip to the Mandemakers Stadion.
A goal from striker Krisztian Nemeth eight minutes before half time was all that separated the sides, the Hungarian’s first goal since joining the club from MTK Hungaria.
The three points move Waalwijk ahead of FC Utrecht into 11th with 28 points, while Vitesse remain seventh.
