Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad is reporting that PEC Zwole defender Darryl Lachman is attracting a lot of interest among top Eredivisie clubs.
The 24-year-old has developed into one of league’s best central defenders and is now heavily tipped to leave his current employers for a bigger club.
Algemeen Dagblad has suggested that Twente and Heerenveen are leading the chase for the talented footballer, while clubs from Germany are also thought to be keen.
And with the player rejecting a new contract offer from PEC Zwole, chances are that he will be leaving as early as January.
The product of famous Ajax youth academy began his professional career at Groningen, but it was at PEC Zwole that he made a name for himself.
He has made a total of 81 league appearances for Blauwvingers, scoring 2 goals in the process. His current deal with the club is due to expire at the end of the season.
