Ajax mounted a second-half comeback to hold VVV Venlo to a 2-2 draw away from home in Eredivisie action on Sunday.
After a goalless first-half, Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa struck a brace inside 13 second-half minutes for VVV, only for Ajax to score twice in two minutes to cancel out the hosts lead at Seacon Stadion De Koel.
Theo Janssen scored in the 68th minute, followed by a 69th-minute strike to Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, ensuring Ajax remained unbeaten through three games this campaign.
Elsewhere, AZ Alkmaar thrashed 10-man NEC Nijmegen 4-0 at home, with Jozy Altidore netting a brace.
The American opened the scoring in the 54th minute, before Pavel Cmovs was sent off for NEC and Rasmus Elm converted the resulting penalty.
Altidore added his second on 73 minutes, before Finnish defender Nikolas Moisander added a fourth for AZ six minutes from time.
Feyenoord came from behind to earn a valuable away point, holding Heracles to a 1-1 draw.
Glynor Plet put the home side ahead on 63 minutes, but Guyon Fernandez’s goal helped Feyenoord remain unbeaten in the league.
PSV Eindhoven eased to a 3-0 victory away to ADO Den Haag, with Dries Mertens scoring the opener before providing assists for team-mates Georginio Wijnaldum and Ola Toivonen.
