Olympiakos finally had their Greek league winning streak come to an end, as the leaders crashed to a defeat at Ergotelis Heraklion.

The Athens outfit had won their last eight league games and hadn’t lost since October. A goal from Vasilios Kotsianikoulis in the 22nd minute made an end to their streak, and might even give rivals a ray of hope.

Olympiakos’ lead over Panathinaikos and PAOK still stands at 11 minutes though, and a major breakdown would be needed for the current leaders not to win the championship.

AEK Athens visited Asteras Tripolis and needed a late goal to earn three points, as Daniel Majstorovic scored the winner with just four minutes to go.
