Eriksen ‘happy’ at Inter Milan

“I’m very happy where I am. I wanted a new challenge and I got one. My focus is totally on Inter and I can’t wait to go back.”

As seen in the above quote, Christian Eriksen has told Sky Sports News that he is happy at Inter Milan after rumours suggesting he would be put up for sale.

The idea that the Dane could leave the San Siro just months after signing seemed insane, but such is the nature of football at the highest level – and such is the unpredictable nature of Antonio Conte.

Inter are bound to make a host of changes between now and the start of the new Serie A changes, and probably a few after that, but Eriksen doesn’t appear to be someone they’re going to let go.

Of course, Eriksen may not be aware of what their plans are for him, but it would be pretty shocking to see him leave at this stage.
