According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Christian Eriksen could be gearing up to leave Inter Milan in January.
Despite only arriving in Italy earlier on this year from Tottenham Hotspur, it already seems as if head coach Antonio Conte is considering the possibility of selling the Danish star.
Paris Saint-Germain are said to be leading the race right now with the club’s sporting director, Leonardo, already making contact with Eriksen’s agent.
Spurs fans were disappointed to see him leave but hoped that he would continue to thrive and develop his game at the San Siro. Alas, that hasn’t really proven to be the case, and the big worry now is that he’ll continue to float from club to club without landing on a permanent home.
Inter can be blamed for giving up on him too quickly, but perhaps Eriksen himself needs to share some of the responsibility. Either way, the truth won’t be clear for quite some time.
