Eriksen will not join Inter Milan in January

Rumours around Christian Eriksen are spreading fast and in all directions. The Danish playmaker has been subject to a lot of rumour mills since the 2019 summer transfer window and those stories could stop right now. Just days after one Danish media outlet said that Inter are getting closer to signing the Tottenham attacking midfielder, now it looks like completely the opposite will happen.

Guiseppe Beppe Marotta, the CEO of Inter’s sporting operations, has said on Sky Sport Italia that Inter will not sign Eriksen. He confirmed that they are not having the talks with the player nor Tottenham and thus saying that his move to Inter is not going to happen.

Eriksen has entered the final six months of his Tottenham contract, which means he could negotiate with non-British clubs right now, for a pre-contract, but right now no one knows what will happen. Marotta also added that he thinks Eriksen is a very interesting player…
