Eriksen’s agent to meet with Real Madrid

According to a recent report from Marca, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen’s agent is set to meet with Real Madrid representatives this week in order to discuss the possibility of a move to the Bernabeu. At this stage in proceedings it seems as if Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is still Real’s main priority, but even with that being the case, Eriksen is still very much on their mind.

The possible sale of the Dane has been on the mind of many Spurs fans in recent months, many of whom seem to be getting pretty sick of waiting around for a deal to be done. There’s definitely some kind of interest from Madrid when it comes to securing his services, but they aren’t being particularly proactive with going after him right now.

Perhaps that’ll come in time, but one way or another, it’s going to be a while before this situation is resolved.
