(GSM) – Tunisian side ES Tunis join Congo DR’s TP Mazembe in the final of the CAF Champions League following a 1-0 home win over Al Ahly.
Egyptian giants Al Ahly had won their home leg 2-1 and hoped to finish it off in Rades.
But the match at the Stade du 7 Novembre had been under way for just over a minute when Nigerian Michael Eneramo put the home side in the lead and ahead on aggregate goals.
Al Ahly went a man down on the half hour as Mohamed Barakat was handed a straight red card, making their task even more difficult.
As Tunis held on, they advance on aggregate goals to reach their fourth ever final. Of the three previous finals, one (1994) was won.
