Espanyol have moved to reshape their squad for next season by releasing five players. Goalkeeper Iñaki Lafuente, 32, defender Clemente Rodríguez, 26, and striker Ewerthon, 26, have all returned to their clubs after loan spells.

Out-of-contract Moroccan international Moha, 30, has not been offered fresh terms while fellow midfielder Fredson, 27, is free to move outside Spain despite having a year left on his deal.
