Espanyol, Finnan disappointed by injures

Former Liverpool and Fulham defender Steve Finnan has been beset by bad luck since moving to Espanyol and has managed only four appearances for the club this term.

“Obviously I am disappointed. I do not like being injured,” he told Catalunya Radio. “Fortunately, it is not too serious and in a couple of weeks I will be able to play, but yes, it is disappointing”.

“Bad luck? You can see it as you want. May it is something else, I do not know. I am disappointed. Football is hard and we should be positive”, Finnan added.
