Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo reports that Espanyol are in talks with Galatasaray over the transfer of Milan Baros.
The La Liga side are eager to sign another centre forward before the end of the transfer window and they would prefer an experienced player who could slot right into the starting line-up.
They have identified several targets, but El Mundo Deportivo understands that Galatasaray forward Milan Baros is on top of their wish list at the moment.
The Czech player, who recently announced his retirement from international football, is set to rescind his contract with the Turkish giants, meaning that he would be available on a free transfer.
However, his hefty wage bill could prove to be a problem, as the player would have to accept a huge pay cut in order to sign for los Periquitos.
The 30-year-old has spent last four seasons at Galatasaray, and has scored 47 goals in 92 Super Lig appearances.
