Espanyol have confirmed reports that they have received an offer for star defender Hector Moreno, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish newspaper has been told the news by club chairman Joan Collet, who refused to disclose the name of the interested side.
Espanyol are, however, not too keen on selling their prized asset even though he has expressed his desire to leave and they will not accept proposals lower than €10 million.
It is believed that Tottenham Hotspur lead the chase at the moment as former los Periquitos boss Mauricio Pochettino hopes to be reunited with the Mexican at White Hart Lane.
Hector Moreno, 26, has spent last three years at Cornella El Prat, making 99 La Liga appearances and scoring 6 goals.
The highly rated centre-back has been putting in some strong performances at the 2014 World Cup, where Mexico are 6/4 to pip Netherlands to a place in the quarter-finals.
