Espanyol slap €20 million price tag on Tottenham target

Espanyol are not willing to sell striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo for anything less than €20 million, according to AS.

The Argentine striker is regarded as one of the most prolific scorers in Spain, having bagged 13 goals in 24 appearances this season.

The impressive displays have seen him attract interest from big European clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Tottenham, but the interested clubs have been informed he will not come cheap.

Espanyol are in no hurry to sell their most prized asset and it is therefore that los Periquitos have slapped €20 million price tag on the forward.

That is €10 million less than the amount of his release clause, but it is still a lot of money to pay for the striker who has yet to prove his worth at a big club.

Atletico Madrid are really keen on the Argentine who also holds an Italian passport and they see him as perfect replacement for Kun Aguero.

However, los Colchoneros are looking to lower the asking price by including their own players in the deal.
